The annual Vine Entertainment Awards are set out to celebrate and reward Christians who are extraordinarily impacting their spheres of influence. The awards recognize influencers in entertainment, Media, Business, Family, Education, Leadership and governance.
The 2021 Vine Entertainment Awards consist of 20 categories, 10 of them are African Act, Ugandan Artist, Album, Video, New Artist, Dance Group, DJ, Spoken word, Comedian and song of the year all nominated by the public whereas the other 10 ie Business, Family, Media, Education, Film, Social Impact, Sports, Leadership/ Governance, Junior Impact and Honorary awards are selected and awarded solely by the academy.
The nominations for the awards focuses on only content based between 1st January and 1st November 2020 only content from this period will be eligible to nominate any artist follow www.vinenetgroup.com/awards. The public vote constitutes 60% and the academy 40%
Voting will begin from 1st March to 31st March 2021, Awards are slated for 29th March 2021
