December is mostly known for its fabulous events that sum up the year and among many Christians the Christmas cantata at Watoto Downtown is the place to go to mark the beginning of the festive season. Just like a number of events have shifted online so has Watoto Church, in an announcement made by the church that revealed how it will host this year’s Cantata online streaming with a live production.
Every year for the past 36 years, Watoto Church has given a free Christmas gift to the city of Kampala and beyond. 2020, even with COVID-19 and other challenges, is no exception. We bring you #PrinceOfPeace – a Christmas Cantata, featuring a dramatic presentation of the miracle story of Jesus’ birth, favourite Christmas songs – both old and new, and spectacular dance & audiovisual effects. And this year, you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your living room. The production will be broadcast online and on-air.
