Massin, a Zambian gospel artist, recently sat down for an interview to discuss his background, career, and inspirations. Born in 1993, Massin grew up in a family of six and was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist church. Though he initially found it surprising that he was drawn to gospel music, he ultimately found that “God works in mysterious ways.”

Massin accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and savior in 2010, and it was that decision that led him to discover his gift for singing in 2013. Since then, he has been a gospel artist for nearly a decade, sharing his message of love through music.

In addition to singing, Massin also studied accounts and is now learning about operations management. However, music remains his true passion. He was inspired to become a gospel artist by the Bible verse Jeremiah 1:5, which states that God knew him and gave him a specific assignment to accomplish in life.

Massin also discussed a turning point in his life, when his family went through difficult times and they began to spend more time with God. Through this experience, he realized that he needed to change his ways and accept Christ as his savior. He is now proud to be doing the Lord’s work.

When asked about his stage name, Massin explained that he chose the name “Massin” because it symbolizes God’s greatness for him, as stated in Jeremiah 1:5. He believes that he was chosen to spread the gospel and that he carries a sense of greatness in everything he does.

When asked about switching to secular music, Massin stated that he loves God and is content being a gospel artist. He believes that gospel music is about love and that it can reach everyone, regardless of their beliefs.

In terms of his career development, Massin shared that he spends a lot of time listening to different beats and reading feedback from his listeners. He also mentioned that he has released three EPs so far, with his latest set to drop in 2023 in a collaborative album with his brother F.O.L.D from USA.

One of the challenges Massin faced early on in his career was financial struggles, specifically with studio payments. However, he has since managed to acquire his own studio equipment and is now able to produce music at a more reasonable cost.

Overall, Massin’s message is one of love and positivity, and he is dedicated to spreading that message through his music.
