Marriage Conflict: Pastors calling for reconciliation

After the controversies between Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his wife, Teddy Naluswa Bugingo and there pending divorce approval papers as pointed out by Teddy Bugingo on fidelity grounds, more pastors have come out to intervene and advise the couple to reconcile, speaking to a publishing website

Pastor Martin Sempa

Pastor Martin Sempa pointed out the fact that marriage is under attack in Uganda because of Pr Bujjingo who is having a bitter and public fight with his wife whom he wants to dump for some much younger radio music show hostess called “Nantaba” . Explains why he recently condemned wedding rings as Satanic,” says Sempa who last celebrated 27years of marriage with his wife.

Other pastors like Mondo Mugisha and Wilson Bugembe have called for reconciliation but Bugingo hinted that this is no longer possible.

Regardless of how hard it can be, Wilson Bugembe strongly believes that divorce should not be listed as an option for settling dispute.

For the Worship House lead Pastor, married couples should seek to apply the bible in daily life.

Pastor Wilson Bugembe made these remarks on Thursday during an interview with local media. He was addressing reports surrounding Pr Aloysius Bugingo’s marriage alleged to be hanging by a thread.

“Every family experiences contention. Difference is that when you bring your fight to the general public, every one will automatically get to know about it,” he said.

“For any marriage, most especially when you have gone through thick and thin to get where you are – it is not to late to reconcile your differences,” he added.

Pr Bugembe explained that disputes within the body of Christ bring shame to the born-again fraternity.
