Robert Skinner dad to Gary Skinner the founder of Watoto ministries passed away a few hours ago. He has been a monumental impact on Watoto ministries and most times know to the church as Jjajja Bob.

In a hearty eulogy Linda Skinner Duncalfe wrote ” My sweet and loving dad has passes from his life. Mom was with him and he was at peace. It was 69 years ago today that they were married, how fitting that they were together as he slipped away. I will miss him terribly but am thankful that he was my dad, loving, gentle, kind, supportive, immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Thank you dad for being the best throughout me entire life.

“Today we pay tribute to a trues legend, Robert Skinner, Watoto founder Gary Skinner’s father . Affectionately known as Jajja Bob, he had a monumental impact on Watoto and we know that his legacy will live forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Skinner family”  Watoto Church
