Trio Limit X Band set to stage a mega performance at Worship Harvest Church. One of Uganda’s most successful gospel groups of the 1990s, Limit X, is set to perform this 29th of April in a mega-concert The group members — Dennis Sempebwa, Paul Mutebi, Paul Serukenya and Isaac Ruccibigango — came together after 13 years of pursuing solo careers.
The four band members were all youth ministers and worship leaders at the Miracle Centre Church in Kampala where they started their singing careers in 1987 with the church’s New Wave Band.
Limit X released 5 albums and 4 radio singles, with several #1 songs in multiple global markets winning awards across the continents. The boy band ministered in over 40 countries to live performances of up to 500,000 people in a single event.
The Limit X band performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London and Madison Square in New York singing for royalty and dignitaries, heads of states together sharing the stage with top recording artists in the world.
Speaking on behalf of the band Dennis Sempebwa who is now a pastor in the US confirms that the band is to stage a one-night concert in Kampala with a live band made up of young fans who have since become some of the most talented musicians on the continent of Africa. The paid-for concert costs 20k for kids, 50k, for ordinary and 100k VIP tickets that can be bought online.
