The Vine awards were set up to appreciate and celebrate Christians who are extraordinarily impacting there spheres of influence and to encourage other Christians to do alike. The awards ceremony was set to take place on 27th March 2020 at the Kampala Serena Hotel but did not happen as planned as Uganda was under lockdown due to Covid-19. Hence Vine Entertainment Group and Platinum Concepts partnered to provide an exciting and entertaining afternoon for the revelers on their online platforms on the 7th June 2020. The awards became the first ever gospel online awards of there kind to be held in Uganda through digital channels and this was celebrated and proved by the viewership and engagement held that day. The audience enjoyed performances from several gospel artists. Below are the winners
