Rising gospel music star, Ndagire N Katherine aka Katalina Mezu is ending 2019 in serious musical style
The star last week released the video of her latest song “Gumpe” to add to her already admirable musical collection.
“Gumpe” is directed by OJ Forever as Katalina takes the viewer/listener through the canal challenges we go through and every time we stray and fall short of God’s Glory, the silent conviction that makes us feel less of ourselves and not worthy to stand again before God.
It is depicted by a seemingly troubled and restless man who seeks answers to his life challenges in booze but eventually comes to the realisation that only God offers the solutions.
The description on her YouTube channel (Katalina Mezu Music) adds, “However, we are reminded of God’s unconditional love as his voice echoes in our hearts asking us to come as we are and Give our hearts back to God and continue in fellowship with him.”
Katalina is a Christian Afro-reggae dancehall musician, passionate about spreading the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ through Gospel Music to the world.Many know her as the sweet voice on “Nyweza” in which she featured Coopy Bly in a song that “carried away many” in 2011.
She’s had several singles including; Am Blessed,Destiny,Save my soul and her latest release Gumpe. She has collaborated with local artists Daddy Andre on Teyebaka,Oscar Jay,and Kenyan dancehall sensation Dafari among others
