Government of Uganda has lifted ban on entertainment concerts which had been previously stopped in March after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Daily Monitor a local news network, restrictions imposed on the art and culture sector during the March 2020 Covid-19 lockdown have been relaxed as long as the organizers observe strict SOPs these include concerts and other entertainment activities.
The lift will be effected this Saturday on 19th, December. It should be known that all gatherings including music and church had been put on hold for nearly 6 months due to the corona virus pandemic however the government lifted the ban in phases which saw churches opening with 70 people and later to 200 people, school opening followed suit
