The lyrically gifted Sam Kimera who goes by Sam K!mera serenaded Vive Auditorium singing his soul out at the Hearts and Minds concert, this comes after a very long while of silence since his last show.
Sam K!mera broke the silence with his two EPs Hearts and Minds which are a reflection of majorly the covid experiences from not only him but the community at large.
Famously known for his lyrical ability evident in his hit single – Slow Down, a song that mainly takes couples on a reflective journey of dwelling first on the things that attracted them to each other and goes ahead to challenge them to reconsider their actions even when tempers flare.
Why Hearts and Minds?
At the core of these 2 Eps, is about change and alignment. We speak greatly about purpose; what it is or isn’t, and what it looks and feels like. But before we see what it looks like externally, a change must happen internally, at the most foundational level, in our hearts and minds.
When this happens, we can then move into action and respond to purpose, which I simply describe as “an invitation to make a contribution to the world around us” Sam K!mera describes his inspiration for the EPs.
Hearts is a 6 song EP that includes Teach me, Adono, Shadow of the most high, Fear of God, Teli akusinga featuring Brian Lubega and Teach me (Studio version) whereas.
Minds EP includes the audience’s favorite “Awama money”, Change the World, Tok Tok, Quiet Song, Someday, Know by Now, Quite Track
