Pastor Tom and Justine Mugerwa of Mutundwe Christian Fellowship (MCF) have held a thanksgiving service on Friday, celebrating 33 years in marriage.
We are here to set an example, Pastor Tom Mugerwa said in his thanksgiving speech.
“The entire world is full of challenges. As a couple, we have also encountered challenges including losing a child and our parents. Those were very challenging times, but God brought us through it all. We are here as living proof that you can get married, and stay in your marriage,? he said.
“We thank God who brought us through various challenges and enabled us to see victory. He has sustained and re-kindled our loved,” the pastor continued.
Pastor Tom explained that many young ladies today have “missed out? because they look at the outside appearance of a man, and not at the potential of the individual.“To the single, please understand that the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. Often times many of you look for American height or riches when choosing a spouse. It is the spirit that makes a man, not the riches or height,? he said.
