5 members of the Watoto Children’s choir and 3 choir leaders have been released from Entebbe Grade B Hospital were they have been receiving medication after 12 of the choir members were diagnosed with Covid 19.
These were among the 10 patients that have been released today from Entebbe Grade B Hospital according to Ministry Of Health.
The two teams that comprised of 12 children and 10 adults were quarantined in Entebbe as directed by the government and on the 27th March 2020 one of the adults from the UK team tested positive for corona virus and upon further testing 3 more adults and 1 child on the same choir tested positive. By 31st 6 more children and 3 adults also displayed symptoms of the corona virus
State Minister for Primary Health Care, @MorikuJoyce presided over the discharge of 10 patients (5 Children from the Watoto Choir, 3 of their attendants, 1 boda boda rider from Kasubi,1 from Kalangala) at Entebbe Grade B hospital.
