During a Sunday sermon Bishop Isaiah Mbuga expressed his concerns on a number of events that have been happening in the world and Uganda in particular, He said that its because of prayers that the country hasn’t seen a single death regarding to the COVID 19 pandemic, and it should be remembered that a few years back Bishop Mbuga made a prophecy that came true when he warned about a virus that would hit the world with no cure.
In his sermon he went on to say that as the prophecy came to pass the same way this virus will disappear with no vaccine. “why are you keeping churches closed, why are you keeping schools closed, people are becoming desperate?” he asked. He continued saying that the government gives no proper explanation on why church closure has still been maintained all this time.
“If we were going to die of this disease we would all be dead by now” . Bishop Isaiah warned people that are misguiding the president that he will pray for them to be displaced from their positions and get replaced with genuine people.
In the last presidential address, President Museveni declared that places of worship will remain closed in a bid to avoid further spread of coronavirus.
According to the president, it is difficult to enforce preventive measures like physical distancing in Churches, or set up and implement contact tracing, since “there are no records of congregants,” he said
