Watoto Church associate team leader Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo and wife Vernita Kamukama celebrate 14 years of marriage.
Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo the Associate Team Leader at Watoto Church Ministries, a vibrant
cell-based community church with more than 27,000 people attending service at its 15 campuses in
Uganda and Juba, South Sudan commended the wife for being of value to him quoting Proverbs 18;22-22 (NIV) ” He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord”
Pastor Julius is a well-respected member of the religious community and has been a pastor at Watoto Church for many years. He is known for his dynamic sermons and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He is also highly involved in community outreach and has been instrumental in helping to improve the lives of those less fortunate.
Vernita, on the other hand, is a devoted wife, mother to Hayil, Hank, Hannela, and Halyn, and a pillar of support for her husband. She is also a dedicated member of the Watoto Church and is involved in various roles serving alongside Pastor Julius and also oversees Watoto Neighbourhood – an initiative that empowers vulnerable women, restoring them to a life of dignity so they’re able to look after themselves and their children. The program’s preventative arm – Keep a Girl in School – comes alongside local schools in Uganda and South Sudan to reduce the dropout rate, teaching girls their value in Christ, igniting their passion for education, and empowering them for the future as well as a mentor to many young ladies in the church.
Together, Pastor Julius and Vernita have been able to build a strong and loving community at Watoto Church, where many people have found hope, support, and guidance. They have also been able to create a loving and supportive home for their children.
As they celebrate their 14th anniversary, it is clear that the love and devotion between Pastor Julius and Vernita is stronger than ever. They are a true inspiration to all those around them, and they continue to make a positive impact on the lives of countless people. We wish them many more years of happiness and blessings in their marriage.
